It has been quite some time since our last update. 

Almost all orders are out to backers. We've had a few returns in the EU/UK sent back to our Ireland partner, but they are working on resending them. 

• There are currently 6 backers whose cards failed when attempting to charge for shipping.
• 23 backers have not entered their addresses so shipping can be charged.

Fulfillment Update 12.12.23

Hello Legionnaires,

It wouldn't be a Kickstarter if a few Torments (VG p. 21) didn't come to pass.

Torment 1. Legionnaires in the EU/UK we hit a snag. When the bulk of items were shipped to our Ireland warehouse, 3 items were not included. We did not know this until the end of last week, even though the missing items had been shipped on Nov 29th. Those items should be arriving Wednesday and all pledges should go out quickly. We are very sorry for the delay. Had we known, we would have communicated this to you earlier.   

Torment 2. Rest of World. We had thought all of the other shipments were going out at the time of the US orders. Unknown to us, the export we sent was not imported into the system and did not start going out until yesterday. Those packages are being shipped from California and may take a little time to get to you knowing it is the holiday season.

Now that the Torments are out of the way, most of the US should have their packages. There are still a few patches in transit that look like they will arrive by the end of this week. If you didn't pay your shipping when we did the first 3 exports of orders, we will be doing that again on the 15th.

Micro Update – US Patches

Hello Legionnaires, 

There has been a glitch in the system, it may have even been a data würm.... If you are in the US and are missing some of your patches, do not worry. We know this is an issue and are working to fix it. 

We've discovered specific patches did not import into our fulfillment partner's system from the data export we provided. They are updating the files and re-importing them. If you get your pledge in the mail and they are missing, you will get another package mailed to you. There's nothing you need to do.

Any pledges already in transit will have this issue.

We've gotten reports that everything else is looking great!

US – All pledges IN THE FIRST WAVE of shipping will be completed by early next week! This does not include anyone who has not fixed issues with credit cards or answered their survey questions. MORE ON THAT BELOW.

Canada – Our California warehouse determined it would be better to ship the contents up to their Vancouver warehouse, to then send directly from there. That shipment should get to the warehouse this Friday and fulfillment should begin next week! 

EU/UK – Ireland has received everything and is now beginning to ship out pledges!

ROW – These orders are shipping from California and may just take a little time to get to you.

I'm sure some of you are frantically checking your mailboxes looking for the goods! (I know I'm ready to get mine!) We had a slight delay in getting the export from Backerkit to our fulfillment partner. As many of you know, we are a small team, 3 full-timers, and 2 part-time for customer service. While I was at Gamehole Con (this is Brian) my mom went into the hospital. Once I got back, I left to go up there to be with her until she passed away on Friday. 

I had planned to get the data exported while at the show, but things were hectic, and then life got in the way. Our fulfillment partner has the export and will begin shipping in two days! This is for everywhere but the EU & UK. The wave of books for those regions is scheduled to arrive at the warehouse in Ireland on November 8th. 

Thanks for your patience as we get everything out. We really can't wait for you to have the books, patches, and tear pads from this campaign!

Sidequest

If you like Vast Grimm and you're into fantasy stuff too, there's a good chance you'll like a side project I  (Brian) have live right now. This is a personal project that is separate from Infinite Black but has a similar aesthetic to VG combining my sculpture in an art-punk style. You could even use it as a world in a VG game.
