Production is moving along smoothly. Yesterday we received the first proofs of the books directly from the printer.
The colors look great and the paper feels really nice. There are a couple of minor things that we want them to tweak and then they will be able to go to press!
One thing that is a little difficult to see in the photo is that we upgraded all 3 books to have the covers printed on metallic paper. It gives them an extra pop that feels very Vast Grimm! There's nothing better than seeing them in person, but here's a video:
Card Decks are off to the printer. All patches are in production, and now we are on to digital items.

April 28th will be here soon. On that date, we will be charging for all add-ons in Backerkit.
We will be working on finalizing the Role Rooms and releasing PDFs of the books before the end of May!

We've also been busy getting all items off to the printer that we can. The only thing left on that side is the patches. We expect to have them sent off by the end of the week. Then it is on to all of the digital items!

Announcement & Production Update

Hello Legionnaires!
In our last netwürk update, we mentioned that we would be making an announcement on 04.04.23. Today is that day!
Last year Brian picked up an old van to turn into the Grimmobile.
Inspired by the vintage tape deck in the vehicle, he was determined to create an adventure that could be printed on the card inside a cassette tape packaging. Once he created Inner Turmoil, he teamed up with his friend Glitter in the Dark who created a soundtrack to be listened to while playing.
We had a small run of 120 cassettes manufactured before we launched this Kickstarter to see if people would dig them as much as we do.
These will go on sale on the Infinite Black website next Tuesday at 10 am CST. We expect them to go fast.
We'll also have digital versions for Legionnaires who don't rock a boom box or walkman.
Both physical and digital will come with audio files, a PDF of the adventure, VTT elements for the map, and the tokens.
If there is enough interest in it, we will re-print the cassette in another color shell, but this colorway will only be available in this first print run.
Brian's been listening to this soundtrack and other music by Glitter in the Dark as he's been writing over the past few months. You don't want to miss out on it!

Space Cruisers has been laid out and sent to Walt for final editing!!!!
Next up will be the card decks and then the patches so that we can get everything that will be in physical form off to production.
Then we can start tackling the digital elements.

If you don't want to hear the sweet, soothing sounds of Brian's voice, here is the step-by-step process.
We are at 81% complete on Backerkit!!! If you have entered your info, please do it so that we can make sure to make enough of all of the items that were part of the campaign. If you have lost or not received the email, you can go here to get it.
If you are a digital backer and have not filled it out, we had an issue with wanting your address and credit card info. That has been resolved, and you should be able to complete the survey now.
Production Update
We are hustling along with all of the elements from this campaign. Since the last update, Blood Altared and Space Raiders have been sent to the printer for proofing. We expect digital proofs of those books in the next 2 weeks. Space Cruisers has gone through multiple rounds of editing and is in the layout stages. We're hoping to have that finalized in the next two weeks. After that, we will focus on the Tribute and Cataclysmic Condemnation decks so that they can go to the printer.

BackerKit Has Begun!

The day has arrived!
The BackerKit pledge manager will launch later today! It will begin as a smoke test (5% of backers get invites to help test the setup) and followed later in the day by a full rollout.
We want to make this experience as easy as possible. If at any point you run into problems, you can reach us on this Vast Grimm Into Oblivion support form. Please respond to your invite this week if possible. Two out of three books are completed, and we need to have a good grasp on how many books we need to print.
BackerKit pledge manager? Do I need to use it?
Yes! It is required for you to receive your rewards. BackerKit is a separate website that you'll use to fill out survey questions, make your item selections, provide address info for shipment, and pay for the shipping (once we are closer to fulfillment).
Even if you're not getting a physical shipment, we still need you to fill out your survey on BackerKit so that we can get digital rewards to you.
BackerKit also has add-ons of items you may have missed during the Kickstarter. d20 Symbol Patches, and a second Cataclysmic Condemnation Card Deck!
We've also included some of the zines that have been harder for some of our international friends to get.
How do I access BackerKit?
You'll get an invite email at the email address you use on your Kickstarter account. (Check your spam/junk mail folder just in case. If you use Apple's email that obfuscates your email, you will need to reach out through our support form)
If the invite email doesn't show, you should be able to get another email attempt sent in at https://vastgrimm.backerkit.com/ after it is launched.
How do I upgrade my reward tier?
Once you have followed the link to Backerkit, the very first screen should have an option under the "Get Started" button if you want to upgrade your pledge.
Your options won't be as robust as they were on Kickstarter. Those pledge levels were created to give backers the best prices for supporting us early.
How do I add on other items?
After the survey section of Backerkit you will move on to add-ons. You can add books, zines, tear pads, and patches. There will be a running list of all the items in your pledge level and your add-ons, so you know what you are getting.
When do I get charged for my add-ons?
We will NOT charge your card for any add-ons or pledge upgrades until April 28th. We will send out several notifications ahead of time as a reminder that change is coming.
What about my shipping information?
The next step is entering your shipping information. Do not worry, if you move between now and when we ship everything, you will be able to update your mailing address later.
We will be charging shipping separately once production has been completed.
Make sure to click the "Place My Order" button. If you don't click that button, we won't know what you want!

If you've hit a snag in the process, please fill out this support form. We'll do our best to get back to you quickly. Please note that we are a very small team, and sometimes (especially on the weekend) takes a couple of days to resolve things.
