Hello Legionnaires!
The past 3 weeks have blasted by since the campaign ended. The Kickstarter money transfer was delayed a bit, so we are a little behind with opening up Backerkit for pledge management. Now that it has been sorted out, we'll have Backerkit up and running very soon.
While we've been waiting to make that happen, there has been a lot of hustling to get items ready for production. Since there are so many elements to this project, we wanted to have a visual guide to the status of each item. If it's too small to read, you can click on the image for a larger PDF.
As you can see, two out-of-three books are almost ready to go to print!
Space Cruisers is going to take the longest because there are still a fair number of page spreads that need art to be created and to be laid out. Speaking of the Cruisers book, I've been building some new starships to work into the layouts. These were just primed yesterday and are awaiting some paint.
Prior to the Kickstarter ending we sent files off to our printer for the tear pads and we've already received samples. We had a couple of minor tweaks before approving for production (moving up to a heavier paper, and a layout adjustment).

The tear pads are the same size as the core book, so they will fit on your shelf nicely!

Now that the campaign is over, we're going to take several days to recharge, and then we will begin finishing the books so that they can be sent for manufacturing.
You will hear a lot more from us through Kickstarter updates in the coming weeks and months, but we wanted to cover a few items with you tonight:
Late Pledge Requests - If you have a friend who wanted to get in on the campaign and missed the opportunity, they can visit the pre-order store on Backerkitnow. But be aware, late pledges do not qualify for the free items we unlocked during the campaign. Those are reserved for Kickstarter backers.
So, what happens now? Kickstarter does not finalize pledges until two weeks after the campaign. During that time, we will be working to Backerkit ready so you can make all of the selections you need to make for your pledge. In several weeks, we will be able to access the pledge data and get it uploaded into Backerkit. After the system is thoroughly tested, we will send out a link to everyone who has pledged so you can access the system and make your selections.
The VastGrimm Facebook Group - If you are new to Vast Grimm, we have a Vast Grimm Facebook group. It is the place for all Legionnaires to hang out and chat. Plus, it is often easy for us to drop in little bits of news there in between full Kickstarter updates. We would love to have you join!

So, right now, there is nothing you need to do. We will continue to be in touch with you through Kickstarter updates.

We are extremely excited that not only have you helped unlock the guest adventure by Rugose Kohn, but you've also unlocked the digital soundtrack for Blood Altared!!! And those are FREE for all pledge levels!
//_2 New Stretch Goals Revealed!
When we hit $160k, a foil 20-card Tribute deck will unlock!!! A physical deck will be added to both the Legionnaire & the All-In pledge levels for FREE. Those two pledge levels are really packing a ton of value for the price! All pledge levels will receive the deck as a printable PDF! Want to upgrade your pledge? <Click HERE>
The Tribute deck will also become available as an add-on.
_Social Stretch Goal: Grow the Legion
When we have 750 members in the Vast Grimm Legionnaires Facebook Group the online Adventure Generator will unlock for everyone! You know you want to have this at your fingertips! Help spread the word.
It will allow you to go in and edit your pledge. Here are the steps:
1. Click the link
2. Click the button "Change your pledge"
3. Select the pledge level you want (it can be the same one you already have picked)
4. Click the "Pledge" button
5. This will take you to the "Configure reward" page. Here you can add-on anything your heart desires. You'llmake book/patchselections in Backerkit after the Kickstarter ends.
6. Hit the "Continue" button
7. Press that "Confirm changes" button and you will be all set!
Any extra money you add to your pledge now helps unlock even more stretch goals.
_If I upgrade my pledge, will I change my backer number and/or lose my "first 48 hours" status?
No! Modifying your pledge does not change your backer number or change the time you originally pledged. Just don't cancel your pledge, and you'll be safe!

Glad you asked. Yes, there certainly is! We have a few more stretch goals we're thawing out of cryofreeze right now. With your help sharing the campaign over the last few days, we will strive to unlock them all!

What an incredible ride this has been and we still have two weeks left!
We've unlocked 13 stretch goals!!! Our next stretch goal unlocks at $125k and features a guest adventure by Rugose Kohn! You may know him from his 3rd party Mörk Borg Adventure Chapbook series. When this happens, that will be five free adventures for all pledge levels!!! That is a ton of extra playing for each of you!
135k Stretch Goal
Behind the scenes, I've been working with my friend Chris Johnson, aka Glitter in the Dark, on a secret project that will be coming out later this year. Part of it includes the three tracks below by Glitter in the Dark.
With the excitement around that upcoming project, David had the idea to include a soundtrack to one of the books in this project! When we hit this $135k, Glitter in the Dark will compose new music for the Blood Altared book. And digital downloads will be free for all pledge levels!

OUR LEGION is growing!!!!
We have had an incredible start to this Kickstarter and we are excited to see just how far our indie RPG can go!
We are extremely excited about our next stretch goal because it pulls in a ton of great stuff from the Space Cruisers book.
It is like a character sheet for your Legion's starship. Not only that, but the back will work as a hex grid for those on-the-fly encounters you might have!
We have many more stretch goals lined up that we are pumped to share with you soon!
